“Analyzing the answers of Finnish tourists, we noticed that Lithuania, in their eyes, still seems a” fresh “direction, in part it reminds Estonia and Latvia. This indicates that more efforts are being made to strengthen the name of our country, highlighting our identity, distinctiveness and opportunities.
It is also worth offering suitable travel experience to this segment of tourists, taking into account the results of the research – their needs are not met, therefore we can really meet them with the joint efforts of the representatives of the tourism sector, ”says O. Goncharova.

After all, Finns can reach our capital Vilnius in just eight hours by land, and it only takes a little over an hour by plane.
We hope that these intensive flights between Lithuania and Finland will also be a lecture, marking everything for various types of travel, ”says O. Gončarova, adding that the survey data show that the number of Finns considering coming to Lithuania reaches 370 thousand.
