A Venetian carnival organized in a castle, near Toulouse
The appointment is given on Saturday from 15 hours to maze of Merville. In this enchanting setting will wander about fifteen characters masked and costumed in the style of the city of the Doges. In the festive spirit of the famous carnival which has been held every year in Venice since the Middle Ages, the characters accompany visitors to the castle. The visit will be followed by a hot chocolate tasting in the reception areas of the magnificent building. Something to immerse yourself in the aristocratic atmosphere of the Eighteenth century, where the cocoa drink was very popular with the notables of the city. Tasted as at the time, it will be accompanied by pastries and the recipe will be directly inspired by that of the time, invented from cocoa beans brought back from travels.
