Tier Mobility has a new CEO for Slovakia
TIER Mobility has a new CEO for Slovakia. He became Mathieu Deloly, who has extensive managerial experience in companies operating in the micromobility sector. M. Deloly is also the director for Poland and Hungary, in addition to Bratislava, he also covers 26 cities in our northern and southern neighbors.
In the past, Mathieu Deloly has worked as General Manager for BIRD in Poland, which provides urban mobility, and BikeU for the Polish market, which operates shared bicycle systems. It currently manages 225 people in three markets, and this number will increase as the main season approaches and expands.
Slovakia is also one of the expansion plans. The TIER company has been operating in our country since 2021, and currently operates 960 electric scooters in Bratislava. Other cities should soon be added to the capital, where riders will be able to use modern green-black electric scooters.
In recent years, shared e-scooters have become the most important part of local transport in Slovakia, Poland and Hungary. TIER is one of the providers of micromobility services that complements public transport and enables cities to create a more sustainable environment and move towards a zero-emission future.
“My goal is for people to understand how much the use of micromobility can have on the environment and on health. We need to reduce our C emissions overnight2 at 0%, but at TIER we are currently focusing on creating awareness. We will get there step by step, with more awareness, electrification and technology development, ” said M. Deloly about his vision in a new role.
