Minerva dominates at the start of the final
Futsal Minerva made an impressive start in the final series for the Swiss championship title. The Bernese won 9-1 against Geneva in their home Weissensteinhalle on Saturday. The team of successful Portuguese coach Pedro Santos is still missing a win for the fifth title in the club’s history. The first chance to do so is on Sunday in Geneva.
Mathys and Iseli win in reverse
After a two-year break, the traditional Chäsitzer Louf took place again on Saturday. 910 runners from the region took part in the 38th edition. The fastest on the 12 km long main run in Kehrsatz were Christian Mathys and Rea Iseli.
Nico Müller wins at the start of the season
Nico Müller got off to a good start in the DTM season. In the second race in Portimão, Portugal, the Audi driver from Thun, which he started from pole position, was the quickest and immediately rehabilitated himself for the day before. In the overall standings of the 16-race championship, the 30-year-old now holds second place behind Italian Mirko Bortolotti.
Langenthal beats Munsingen
In group 2 of the 1st league, FC Langenthal won the cantonal derby against Münsingen 2-0. Goals were scored by Oliver Jonjic in the first half and Labinot Haziri in the second half. There was also a 2-0 win for Spiez in the second division against Binningen. The second Oberland team prevailed even more clearly. Lerchenfeld beat Bubendorf 5-0.
