Mamadou Coulibaly will sign a professional contract
Mamadou Coulibaly, an 18-year-old midfielder trained at AS Monaco and under an aspiring contract until June 2022, was one of the young talents that we could fear to see leave this summer. Or, according to our information, the young Monegasque player should indeed continue the adventure with the club of the Principality by signing his first professional contract. Upgraded with the U19s since last season, Coulibaly (French international U17), courted by FC Barcelona, Bayer Leverkusen, Atlético Madrid, AC Milan, and Manchester City, has already scored 10 goals and delivered 6 assists this season with his training club (The Monaco U19s are even first in their group and qualified for the playoffs).
Good news for the Red and Whites, especially when we know the usual exodus of their young promises (like for example Hannibal Mejbri at Manchester United). Paul Mitchell’s speech and the Monegasque club’s strategy of giving a chance to young people from the academy (like Benoit Badiashile) convinced the box-to-box community to stay in its training club. Represented by the company One Team Management (which also manages talents such as Nice striker Evann Guessand or Toulouse defender Anthony Rouault) and one of whose leaders is Bruno Skropeta (former deputy general manager of AS Monaco and PSG ), Mamadou Coulibaly will not be a candidate for exodus this year to the delight of the Monegasque club.
