“I hope for the reward at the end”
Winner of FC Sète this Friday evening, FCA has taken a step closer to direct accession to Ligue 2 and is now guaranteed to play in the play-off. Author of a triple, striker Alexy Bosetti is the man in form in Annecy at the end of the season.
In remarks relayed by the Dauphine Libere, the former Stade Lavallois player first returned to his evening performance. “I was lucky to have a few more chances than usual. Physically, mentally, I was ready. It’s cool. It’s the perfect evening.“

A perfection achieved via its collective dimension. Because with three more points on the clock, the FCA has come a little closer to joining Ligue 2, which it could even have celebrated last night in front of the more than 7,000 spectators present at the Parc des Sports. “We would have liked to finish the job today but we will try to do that against Bourg-en-Bresse on Friday. It doesn’t matter if it’s not done yet. We were not yet in control of our destiny, it pushes back the deadline but it will be beautiful at the end. I hope that we will bring even more people against Sedan in a fortnight to celebrate together because people had a good evening, saw goals, spectacle.“
Alexy Bosetti (Annecy): “We are the permanent miracle”
Ambition and above all the awareness that the work remains to be finished. After all the efforts made, the players of Laurent Guyot are not enough to allow the slightest relaxation. “We are going to recover well this weekend and go back to work because, in football, the truth of the day is not that of the next day. We will continue to work, there are still two big games ahead of us with, I hope, the reward at the end. […] When I see our group, the efforts we’ve been making since August, under the conditions in which we’re making them. It’s not easy to still train on synthetic in April, not easy to have a real locker room for a month. I often say it jokingly but, frankly, we are the permanent miracle.”
A miracle that could find its happy conclusion the next day for FC Annecy never so close to returning to Ligue 2, which it left in 1993…
