Limou_x: three ACL athletes at the Pointes d’or in Toulouse
This Sunday the Limoux Athletics Club took part in the Pointes d’or in Toulouse, a competition reserved for the youngest and minimal categories. Only three Limouxines had made the trip but once again the performances were there.
In the youngest category, Anaïs Cintas had chosen the shot put and the javelin and was at the start of the 50 m. With a throw of 16.28 m in the javelin, she ranks 4th out of 31 participants, in the shot put, the 6.66 m obtained allow her to be 15th out of 33. In 50 m she achieves a good time of 8 ‘ 26.
For the minimals Meriem Ben Mechlia finished first in her 80m series in 11’03 and 5th time out of 48 participants. Great performance also in the long run with a jump of 4.36 m, she also beat her personal best over 1,000 m with a very good time of 3′ 29″17. In the general triathlon classification, she ranks 8th out of 96 and 1st from the Aude.
Louna Bernard takes second place in her series in the 80m in 11’79 and 20th time out of 48, in the weight contest, she projects the 3 kg at 6.98 m. In the high jump, she failed at 1.22 m, knee pain is not unrelated to this poor performance. She finished 52nd in the triathlon out of 96 and 3rd Audoise.
