Better supports the management of IT needs in Luxembourg
Committed to their digital transformation, many companies have had their IT needs assessed. “Over the past two years, we have seen a growth in teleworking. Companies are interested in infrastructures that allow remote working in complete safety. Before, the data did not come out of the companies. Today we have to open the necessary capacities for the home office”, explains David Bavay, director of European institutions at Rime-IT.
Combining its expertise to better serve Luxembourg customers
Created ten years ago in an already competitive Luxembourg market, Rime-IT has made a point of putting people at the center of all its attention. The IT services company dedicated to the outsourcing of services and qualified IT personnel supports clients in the analysis and optimization of business processes, user support, the management of their infrastructure and the deployment of IT projects. Over time, the company has built up a lasting clientele, all sectors combined. Today, of course, she still wishes to develop her clientele and above all to hire new talent in order to accelerate her growth. “After ten years in the IT department, I was considering a merger with a larger company in order to be able to address larger markets”, says David Bavay.
In November 2021, Rime-IT therefore joined the NSI group, a main player in the same sector in the Wallonia-Brussels region. “As an IT integrator, our business is infrastructure management, the VET-ERP component, the development of applications and the provision of skills for different technologies. », says Alain Wattier, NSI General Manager. It is with an ambition for growth that NSI therefore wished to extend its presence on the Luxembourg market by acquiring a 3and subsidiary (after MultiData in Weiswampach and NSI Luxembourg in Esch-sur-Alzette). “We have the will to revitalize Luxembourg and to be 300 by 2023-2024. By acquiring Rime-IT, we were able to develop our activities. Indeed, the latter works more with European institutions and Luxembourg public sector companies. What we want is to give weight to the regions. If the group provides its support, they are the ones who have the strategic axes to develop”.
The objective is to attract new talents while practicing the modern management of Rime-IT based on the autonomy and confidence of our collaborators.
Expand the offer thanks to specialized skills centers
For Rime-IT, this merger makes it possible to take advantage of the group’s references, expertise and human resources, thus giving it another dimension. On the other hand, Rime-IT, thanks to its knowledge of the European market and the Luxembourg state, completes NSI’s offer. To better develop these axes, the company undertook a reorganization of its structure with two new business units. The first, Rime-IT “Professional Services” is managed by Nathalie Souty, and covers the private and public sectors. “The objective is to attract new talent while practicing modern Rime-IT management based on the autonomy and trust of our employees”, she points out. The second business unit, Rime-IT “Institutional” managed by David Bavay, is exclusively dedicated to institutional clients for all the solutions and services offered.
