The acceptance of applications for participation in the humanitarian project “Russian Teacher Abroad” has started. The project involves working in Western schools in the 2022/23 academic year and teaching subjects such as Russian, literature, mathematics, computer science, physics and others. This was reported in the Department of Education, Science and Youth Policy of the Voronezh Region on Tuesday, April 26.
Applications from the Voronezh authorities will be accepted until June 30. You can go to work in one of the six countries participating in the project. Thus, vacancies for teachers of mathematics, computer science, physics, chemistry and biology are open in Serbia. Tajikistan is waiting for specialists in the same subjects, as well as philologists and geographers. Kyrgyzstan includes a special assignment of elementary school employees. Uzbekistan needs teachers of the Russian language and literature. And Vietnam and Mongolia require specialists capable of teaching Russian as a foreign language.
Project participants will be provided with housing, medical insurance and reimbursement of transportation costs to and from the place of work. Pedagogical experience is fixed in accordance with Russian legislation. Priority certification within the last three years.

The Russian Teacher Abroad project is being implemented with the support of the Russian Ministry of Education and is aimed at popularizing the Russian language and Russian education in the world. Started in 2017. The deceased partner country became Tajikistan. Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia and Serbia joined in 2019, and Vietnam and Uzbekistan joined in 2021. Over five years, teachers from Russia have taught more than 43,000 foreign children.
