Toulouse is one of the cities in France most conducive to relaxation and well-being: here is its place

According to a large study by Emmasleep specialist Toulouse would be one of the cities of France the more conducive to the relaxation and at welfare. A survey carried out in “the hope that the successful results will help cities improve the quality of life of their inhabitants”.
6th “big city” in France
To achieve this ranking, the specialized site is based on numerous data and well-identified factors. Way of life and sleeping habits, health factors and infrastructure are the main lines of study to determine the best possible classification. In this little game, Toulouse ranks 6th position major cities behind Angers, Annecy, Rennes, Nantes and Montpellier.
Popular health factors
According to a very precise calculation (scale of 50 to 100, 100 being the best result) that you can find here and data quoted from INSEE, the Territorial Observatory, DREES, Eurostat or even exclusive data, Toulouse is distinguished by its offer of health.
The pink City stress and anxiety (a score based on unemployment rate, population density and proprietary survey data),
• 96.40 for the “ frequency of mental health care (a score based on the number of inhabitants of each city followed for a mental health issue, the number of suicide attempts recorded as well as the number of deaths by suicide);
• 98.70 for “ frequency of care related to physical health (a score based on each city’s cancer incidence rate and number of hospitalizations per capita)
• 92.20 for the “ number of hours of physical activity (a score based on the amount and frequency of physical activity performed by residents of each city).
• 97.39 for “ food (a score based on the proportions of overweight and obese people in each city and the number of diabetes cases treated there).
Other interesting indicators
About the lifestyle and sleeping habitsToulouse residents are also well “rated”:
• 95.55 for the “ work surcharge (a score based on employees’ normal working hours, the number of people working overtime and the amount of overtime they work);
• 98.74 for the “ media consumption (a score based on the average time residents spend in front of a computer or TV screen per day and proprietary survey data).
• 93.88 for the “ noise and light pollution (a score based on data relating to passenger vehicles, public transport, traffic, traffic congestion, noise and light pollution, average radiance as well as proprietary survey data).
The infrastructures are also acclaimed with a score of 97, 15 for the wellness centers and spas91, 66 for yoga centers, gyms and sports complexes89.97 for mental health services.
Still things to improve
Regarding the less flattering ratings, Toulouse is lagging behind regarding the “ average number of hours of sleep (81.70, a score based on the rate of sleep deprivation of the inhabitants), the ” air pollution (85.43, score based on air quality), the public gardens and security (79.81, a score based on the number of public parks and the crime rate).
Toulouse’s total score, out of 100, is 94.87which makes it one of the cities in France most conducive to relaxation and well-being.
