the town hall invites the inhabitants to flower the city
Notice to lovers of greenery. The “Flowers on my wall” operation is back. On the initiative of the town hall of Toulouse, this action comes to the fore each year with the arrival of the spring in Toulouse. Through it, the municipality invites, in a participatory approach, the inhabitants of the Pink City to green their places of life, but also the streets of the city.

Greening and flowering the windows in Toulouse
To greet spring and embellish the pink city, it offers its inhabitants vegetate and to bloom their windows and balconies, on the street side. Moreover, this initiative does not only apply to private balconies. Toulousains are invited to plant at the foot of the facades thanks to a pit dug and filled with topsoil, to flower windows and balconies, to plant the feet of trees as well as the fixed city barriers, included in front of their home.
How to participate in this operation?
Every Toulouse resident is free to take part in this action. “This approach is aimed at anyone who wishes to beautify their street, by planting plants at the foot of the facade in front of their house, building or business”, specifies the town hall of Toulouse. Participation is subject to the power of demand. The registration form is available on request by email: [email protected] or by post to Operation “Flowers on my wall” – Mairie de Toulouse 1 place du Capitole 31040 Toulouse. Volunteers can also download from the town hall website.
Once completed, remembering to tick the box concerning the “Vegetation Charter”, the registration form must be returned by email: [email protected] or by post to the address above. Note that participants who are in place must attach an authorization from the owner or co-owner to the form. If the participation is accepted, the services of the Town hall and Toulouse Métropole will work on the realization of pits on public spaces and will deliver them with topsoil, ready for planting.
