Lulu in the Moon at the Théâtre des Muses in Monaco
The Théâtre des Muses in Monaco presents “Lulu dans la Lune” directed by Christophe Luthringer with Manon Lheureux and Fabienne Chas, a show for children aged 4 to 8.
MUSE THEATER – To never be afraid of the dark in her room again, Lulu undertakes an expedition to the moon to bring back a precious piece of it. She faces many obstacles and goes through many emotions to reach the white star. During this adventure, Lulu asks for help from her imaginary friend Douin who teaches her gestures, movements and breathing to calm her fears and draw strength and courage from her.
“Lulu dans la lune” is an interactive tale, designed to introduce children aged 4 to 8 to the practice of self-massage, breathing and yoga. When he feels tired, restless and whenever he needs to feel better, he can use these gentle wellness practices.
Sequences of movements and breathing punctuate the unfolding of the story: the children reproduce on themselves the gestures shown by the actresses. They are alternately actors in movement and spectators of the story.
Singing, Koshis, balafon punctuate the scenes, as well as body percussion.
At the end, the essential gestures are shown again so that the children remember and appropriate them.

“Playing the Letters from my mill as if it was me who had thought, imagined, written them. As if I remembered.
As if I had lived them, so that they bring me back to childhood, mine and everyone else’s. The childhood of art too.
That’s it, just that: stories, landscapes, characters, accents. And a country. Mine: Provence.
I would like to touch and entertain by plunging the viewer into the marvelous and cruel ancient world of Alphonse Daudet. There is something very romantic about him and I would like this world to be restored and embodied, as if we were entering a film. I’m going to act out thirteen of these stories – split into two shows – where I’ll play the narrator, Alphonse Daudet himself, as well as all his characters, from Monsieur Seguin’s goat to the wolf, from the Cucugnan priest to the Good Lord in nobody…! Through this show I affirm once again my passion and my vocation for popular theater for which these texts, burlesque or serious, seem written. And I will play them so that everyone, young and old, can have fun and be moved by them. »
