In Toulouse, it is possible to put yourself in the shoes of a diplomat at the UN
While France has just gone through an electoral period with a lot of media coverage, one thing came out of this presidential election: the abstention of 18-24 years old. However, many young people are interested in politics and the issues of tomorrow. It is for this reason that theSchool of Human and Land Rights set up a diplomatic simulation program.
The three-day program will take place on rue d’Aubuisson in Toulouse. Thus, 65 young people aged 18 to 30 could put themselves in the shoes of a political seat at the UN.

A program where we discover the UN and its role as a diplomat
The first two days consist of training and familiarization through a preparation stage. Discovery of theUN and its role as Diplomatwork on orality, games and debates, fun activities, everything will be put in place to prepare the participants.
The last day will be a simulation of a General Assembly in the auditorium of the Espace de la Diversité et de la Laïcité on rue d’Aubuisson. Fifteen states are represented.
Space in this “Simul’Onu” for all profiles
“Mock UN”, this is the name of this program that will leave room for all profiles. Thus, among the 65 young people selected, half will be young French people, and half will be newcomers, recently arrived in France. Thus, no condition is required except that of having a level A2 in French language. This project, funded by the DIAR and the DIAN as part of a more general support for acclimatization to youth policy, will also allow those registered to take advantage of a lunch offered on Friday May 6.
