Football Monaco – ASM: Manchester United harasses him, Paul Mitchell will crack!
In June 2020, AS Monaco made a nice move by offering the services of Paul Mitchell as sporting director.
The former Red Bull strongman has done a good job at Monaco, currently tied for fourth in Ligue 1 with Stade Rennais. But Paul Mitchell’s adventure in the Principality could well be coming to an end, two years after it began. Indeed, Sky Sports confirmed on Tuesday that Manchester United has made Paul Mitchell one of its priorities in view of the construction site that awaits the Red Devils during this off-season. The future coach Erik Ten Hag as well as the current manager Ralf Rangnick are favorable to the arrival of Paul Mitchell, who would be recruited in a role of sporting director at Manchester United, where the site is absolutely colossal in view of the catastrophic season that are realizing Cristiano Ronaldo’s partners in the Premier League.
Paul News #Mitchell: the Monegasque sporting director is ready to leave the club in the summer. The two, Rangnick and Ten Hag, pushing his move towards #MUFC! They should have made “strong recommendations” and proposed him as technical director. But other decision-makers are against this idea. @SkySports 🏴

Paul Mitchell at the helm of Manchester United?
“Paul Mitchell is ready to leave AS Monaco this summer. Rangnick and Ten Hag are pushing for him for the signing at Manchester United. They have made strong recommendations to the management of the Red Devils, but other decision-makers within the English club are against the arrival of Mitchell” revealed on his Twitter account the British journalist Florian Plettenberg, before concluding in a second tweet. “Paul Mitchell could be recruited to a position of technical director or head of recruitment if he signs for Manchester United” he published. It remains to be seen if Manchester United management will agree on the name of the future recruitment manager and if it will be Paul Mitchell. For its part, Monaco hopes that Paul Mitchell will stay, otherwise it is a whole organization that will have to be rebuilt in a club which has lacked stability in recent years.
