Aussonne. The Foire de Toulouse received the college students
First concretization of the partnership agreement signed between Toulouse Events and the Germaine-Tillion d’Aussonne middle school, the 180 pupils of the 4th grade classes won privileged access to the Toulouse Fair.
After a first group of 90 students and their accompaniments on Monday, the correspondents were invited by Pascal Precigout, principal of the college and Mihaela Vieru, to join the group of 90 students on Tuesday which also included students from Ulis classes as part of of the Pial. This educational visit was exceptional since, that day, half of the students in the group had never visited the Toulouse Fair.
At first glance, it was the size of the places that impressed the schoolchildren and the signage required a moment of identification to join who the sports village, who the institutional stands, who the defense pole according to the route planned for each sub-group of thirty students.
At the sports village, schoolchildren were able to try their hand at indoor rugby and various boules sports in complete freedom and regretted not having the time to put on wetsuits to discover scuba diving.
At the Defense division, encouraged by their teacher, the members of this group did not hesitate to question the instructors present on the studies to be favoured: “How do you become an officer?” They were surprised to be told that “cook, mechanic, veterinarian, pilot… All trades are possible”. But we know that they all want to be pilots and it is the fastest of them who has settled into the cockpit of the flight simulator.
A fun afternoon for young people who must not lose sight of the fact that, back at school, there will be a report to prepare and lessons to be learned to prepare for the next stage: the meeting with the Meett staff at their return to 3e, to discover new professions there again.
