AS Monaco – Mercato: a strange deal at 3M€ on the ASM side?
Thanks to its success on the lawn of the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard against ASSE – AS Saint-Etienne on Saturday afternoon, AS Monaco, led by the excellent Wissam Ben Yedder and Aurélien Tchouaméni, now occupies fourth place in the classification in Ligue 1 with the same number of points as Stade Rennais (3rd).
If the end of the season promises to be exciting on the ASM side, the Principality club trained by Philippe Clément would already have an eye on the next summer transfer window and a strange deal at 3M€ would also be studied on the rock !
Indeed, according to information from sky sportsthe leaders of AS Monaco were very interested in Odion Ighalo (32), who never stopped scoring in the Saudi Arabian championship (12 goals with Al-Shabab during the first half of the season, already 7 goals in six games played since his arrival at Al-Hilal in February to take over from Bafé Gomis who left for Galatasaray).
The former Manchester United Nigerian international striker has currently reached €3m on the specialized site Transfermarkt, the price paid by Al-Hilal for the recruiter a little over two months ago. Case to follow therefore between AS Monaco and Odion Ighalo, currently linked until June 2023 with the Saudi formation.
