After Monaco, another blow falls for Pascal Dupraz
ASSE: While the Stéphanois lost this weekend againstAS Monacoanother bad news has just fallen for Pascal Dupraz.
ASSE: Another absentee in the sprint final
While the ASSE is struggling in the league. Stuck in 18th place, synonymous with play-offs at the end of the season, the Greens failed to thwart AS Monaco’s plans at home and lost heavily on the lawn of Geoffroy-Guichard (1-4) . In addition to this bad operation on the accounting level, the team of Pascal Dupraz recorded another bad news with the exit on injury of Gabriel Silva Saturday night. The Brazilian, who has just found playing time at Sainté, could miss the last games of the season.
According to journalist Laurent Hess, the player could be away from Ligue 1 grounds for a while and experience a premature end to the season. His exit during ASSE–monaco would be linked to a muscular problem which could therefore be quite serious. While he had just chained three tenure ranks, Gabriel Silva could no longer wear the green tunic this season.
ASSE: A complex end to the season for the Greens
While the Stéphanois were to be sanctioned by the LFP because of the use of smoke bombs by the supporters on Saturday, the ASSE will, however, need the support of their fans to avoid relegation. There are only four games left for the Greens to get out of the impasse and not the easiest. Indeed, the men of Pascal Dupraz will travel next weekend to Rennes (3rd) before receiving Nice (5th). For the last two games, the AS Saint-Etienne will be opposed to Reims (13th), then Nantes (10th) to close the championship.
In addition to Gabriel Silva, two other players from Saint-Etienne will be missing as they are injured at the end of the season. Falaye Sacko and Enzo Crivelli, two winter recruits, will indeed be unavailable for this end of the season which promises to be very tense for the ASSE. It should also be noted that Kolodziejczak, Bouanga and Nordin are all under threat of suspension for accumulating yellow cards.
