Teams EGSV champion of East Netherlands – Genemuiden News
In Varsseveld, the East Netherlands Championships were held on Saturday. The Eerste Genemuidiger Sports Association with 10 teams at the start.
During the East Dutch Championship (ONK) not only titles were made, but teams could also qualify for the national semi-finals. The results showed that EGSV returned home with many good performances. All 10 teams have reached the limit for the semi-finals.
There were titles for the teams consisting of Lara van de Berg, Maud van Dijk and Emma Beens. They took first place in the E-junior trios. There was also a gold medal for the D-Senioren team consisting of Lieke van Dijk and Ashley Jager. These two teams can call themselves East Dutch Champion.
Other podium places were for Sterre van de Vreugde and Jayla Rook (D-Juniors), Fleur Hoekman, Stella de Wilde & Anne-Sophie van de Wetering (3e place E-Youth), Sterre Brouwer, Nina Nijman & Pascalle Veenhof (3e place E-Juniors), Fayenn de Leeuw, Bente van der Steeg & Valerie Veenhof (3e place E-Seniors), Tess van Dalfsen, Ronja Kubbenga & Britt Visscher (3e place D-Seniors).
All medal winners progress to the national semi-finals, in addition to the medal winners, Leonie Oudenaarden & Marit Pelleboer also progress.
For the duos Liz van Lente & Annedieke Postma (E-Juniors) and Loïs Gregoire & Loïs Lassche (D-Seniors), the KNGU competition season has come to an end for now, they have to settle for a place on the Reserve Bank.
With 7 medals, 8 places in the semi-finals and 2 teams on the reserve bench, EGSV looked back on a successful day of competition!
