Monaco: a photo to silence the rumor
Already struggling with this very embarrassing affair of the “Dossiers du Rocher”, Prince Albert must also manage the delicate problem of his wife, Princess Charlene.

After her official health concerns in South Africa, which immobilized her there for more than six months, her return to Monaco was immediately followed by a period of convalescence in a private clinic in Switzerland. Albert II indeed confided that his wife suffered from a “both physical and emotional exhaustion”. We learned that Charlène was continuing her recovery in the Principality from March 12. However, she had not returned to the prince’s palace but rather to Roc Agel, the 56-hectare estate owned by the Prince on the heights of Monaco and where the small family had spent the long months of confinement in 2020.
According to the Italian daily “Corriere della Sera”, the Princess, who had been seen at Nice airport on March 22, had flown to the island of Beauty according to the terms provided for in a pact that she would have spent with her husband, in order to be able to live on his side for a certain time before resuming her official engagements. However, on the occasion of Easter, both the Prince’s Palace and Princess Charlene posted reassuring family photos on their Instagram accounts. Albert and Charlene can be seen surpassing Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella as well as a huge Easter Bunny. The small family also attends a religious service in the Principality. Something to reassure the Monegasques or… at the very least to temporarily silence the rumours.
