large rally in Toulouse against the dissolution of Palestine Vaincra
At the call of the committee against the dissolution of the Collectif Palestine Vaincra, more than 250 people gathered this Thursday, April 21 in Toulouse, to jointly oppose the dissolution of the collective and the government’s security offensive in which it s ‘anchor. In a combative atmosphere, some of the 32 organizations grouped together in the committee took the floor to support the former Collectif Palestine Vaincra, resolved on March 9 by Gérald Darmanin, and denounced the offensive against our entire social camp that this draconian attack represents.

A member of the committee against the dissolution of the Collective denounced as follows: The dissolution that today affects the Collectif Palestine Vaincra is therefore one more step in the criminalization of the solidarity movement with Palestine. Because it is indeed all the progressive and solidarity organizations that are targeted today through this attack “. She explains that if the former Palestine Vaincra Collective is going to file an appeal with the Council of State, it is in the united struggle that it is possible to build a balance of power with the government: “ More than ever, we must stand up against this draconian and extremely serious offensive and these recurring attacks on the most basic rights of association and expression. “.

Following, the lawyer of the former collective and member of the Syndicat des Avocats de France (SAF) spoke, registering this dissolution in the authoritarian offensive led for several months by the Macron government: “ For more than six months, the dissolutions are linked. We had detected a few months ago, and we were right to do so, on the occasion of the adoption of the Separatism law; since this law opened an avenue for the government to silence all dissenting voices and to dissolve associations “.
For her part, Alberta, an activist with Révolution Permanente and Le Poing Lévé, recalled that ” the first step for a fight against the security offensive and against the extreme right, is to fight today against the government which has dissolved associations, such as the Collectif Palestine Vaincra and the GALE in Lyon. If Darmanin wants to silence the Palestinian solidarity movement, we have to show him that there are more of us “.

A fight that retains all its importance, especially since at the same time, the Palestinian people continue to suffer from the criminal and colonial policy of the State of Israel, like the recent attack on the mosque of ‘Al-Aqsa and the bombing of southern Gaza.
Thus, the united struggle against the dissolution of the Collectif Palestine Vaincra shows the way for the response to the five-year period of attacks that is coming. After having organized a unitary public meeting at the University of Mirail and a week of actions on the city, the committee calls for a rally in front of the Council of State in Paris, on April 26 at 10 a.m. to continue the fight against the attacks liberticides of the Macron government. A gathering in which we must be as many as possible, to continue to build a broad front of opposition to this dissolution, and to allow significant blows to be struck at the reactionary policies of the government and the extreme right, through a speech anti-racist, anti-imperialist and total independence of the state.
