Nobody outshines the Grand Tour of Switzerland
After being rejected by Hollywood actors Robert De Niro and Meryl Streep, tennis superstar and new brand ambassador for Switzerland Tourism, Roger Federer, succeeded in winning over Anne Hathaway for a commercial to present the Grand Tour of Switzerland. But little did he know he was in for an unpleasant surprise.
“I’m at a loss for words Anne. I didn’t see that coming,” he tells Hathaway in a recently shared video, in which she commented that they look like ants! The duo can be seen parkouring up a mountain – it took a frantic 22 takes to get the perfect shot, or swimming through a frozen glaze where Federer flaunts his perfect abs, only to realize that the majestic Swiss landscape has taken over the visuals, including the superstars!

Federer and No Drama Film Switzerland Tourism caused a worldwide sensation last year with a short film starring Federer and Oscar winner Robert De Niro, in which we saw De Niro turn down an invitation from Federer to be part of a film about Switzerland.
De Niro thinks the goal is pure, awe-inspiring, and utterly beautiful, but lacks drama! The film ended with the idea “If you need a holiday without drama, you need Switzerland”, which ties in with Switzerland Tourism’s larger campaign “I need Switzerland”. Full of humor and wit, the film has been viewed more than 100 million times worldwide and became one of the top ten commercials of 2021.
