In Belarus, a mother of many children wary of a “dance case” was prosecuted under six articles
A 34-year-old resident of Pruzhany was detained in Belarus. A woman raising three children and previously identified in a “round dance case” is charged under six articles of the Criminal Code, reported press service of the Investigative Committee.
Previously, a woman was sentenced to 3 years of “home chemistry” (restriction of freedom without a referral to an open correctional facility) in a “round dance case.”
In the new criminal case, she is charged with the fact that she, for a fee, transmitted a report about the alleged persons who carried out criminal prosecution in relation to her criminal prosecution. According to the investigation, for this she received a money transfer in the amount of more than 500 euros, in addition, money was transferred to her account, which she transferred to other consequences and aims to collect articles as financial assistance.
According to the investigation, the information transmitted by the woman was posted in extremist telegram channels, and in places where traces of detection and damage were found.
Actions of residents of Pruzhany qualified personnel under the economic articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus:

“The case of round dances” is one of the most massive criminal cases on protests in Belarus. In total, several people are consistently repeated.
The case arose after the action on September 13, 2020. On that day, the protesters marched along the central streets of the city, then went out onto the roadway on Masherova Avenue, and shot at the intersection with Kosmonavtov Boulevard. The demonstrators began to dance and dance at the crossroads. Then, for the first time, the security forces used a water cannon to disperse the protesters.
The materials of the court say that everyone is being prosecuted together with external active participation in actions that grossly violate public order, their actions are combined with a clear disobedience to the law, with regard to stopping the operation of transport, enterprises and organizations.
