Sweden-based ArK Kapital secures EUR 145.1 million after raising EUR 165 million last month
Stockholm based ArK Kapitala data-driven precision finance company that enables start-up technology companies to grow faster, announced that they have raised SEK 1.5 billion (approximately EUR 145.13 million) in a mix of debt and equity financing.
This fundraiser follows ArK’s recently announced Seed round led by Local Globe with the participation of Creandum and angel investors, including Supercell’s CEO Ilkka Paananen, iZettle founder Jacob de Geer and EQT Ventures founder Hjalmar Winbladh.

The investor
The capital of Pollengatan claims that they have supported the round in a new partnership, which provides a 150 million euro senior secured debt facility. The company has deep expertise in tailored debt financing and strategic insight for small and medium-sized lenders, where this business represents Pollen Street’s first facility in Scandinavia.

The precision financing company
ArK Kapital is a data-driven precision financing company that helps startups grow smarter through long-term loans, maintain control for the founders and reduce the risk for investors. The Fintech company was founded in 2021 by six-time entrepreneur Oliver Hildebrandt (CEO), veteran banker Axel Bruzelius (COO), and Spotify’s ex-VP for Analytics and former EQT Ventures partner Henrik Landgren (CPTO).
ArK offers an alternative to equity-based financing and focuses on loans without dilution to European start-ups in several sectors from EUR 1 million to EUR 10 million. The Fintech startup offers long-term loans, up to eight years, to give startups in the early stages time to grow. The loans are based on predictions about a company’s future income. The company then shares daily access to its analyzes and insights in a dashboard for borrowers, so that companies can optimize their business results.
