The first Ukrainian journalist arrives in Kosovo
Ukrainian journalist Lyudmila Makey is the first to arrive in Kosovo on Sunday as part of the Journalist in Residence program in Kosovo. In March, the Government of Kosovo signed a decree to provide shelter for up to six months to 20 Ukrainian journalists forced to leave their country after the invasion by Russia, reports Gazeta Express.
Representatives of the Association of Journalists of Kosovo (AJK) welcomed Makey at Pristina International Airport. This project is being implemented by AJK in coordination with the European Center for Press and Media Freedom (ECPMF) and the European Federation of Journalists (EFJ).
