Rosalía returns to Portugal to present her new album, “Motomami”, in two concerts, the promoter Live Nation advancing. According to a statement from the world’s leading live entertainment company (and hours later via the artist’s Twitter), on the 25th of November, the artist from Santa Catarina will perform at the Altice Forum, in Braga, and on the 27th of the same month at the Altice Arena, in Lisbon, after other cities in Europe until mid-December. The tour will start in July, with more than a dozen concerts in Spain, then cross the Atlantic for concerts in Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, the United States, Canada, among other countries. Contrary to what has been reported, BLITZ knows that the concerts in Portugal will not take place at the Super Bock Arena – Pavilhão Rosa Mota, in Porto, and at Campo Pequeno, in Lisbon.
Last March, the artist released her third album, “Motomami”, which expands her sound beyond pop and flamenco, approaching styles such as reggaeton, bachata, hip-hop or even samba in themes such as ‘Saoko’, ‘ La Fama’, ‘Teriyaki Chicken’ or ‘Bulerías’. The album includes duets with The Weeknd and Tokischa and also features a collaboration with James Blake. In an interview with BLITZ, the artist confessed her passion for fado.
Rosalía is 29 years old and participated for the first time in Portugal2017, in a concert at Theatro Circo, in Braga, where she showed her first album, entitled “Los Angeles”, with guitarist and producer Raül Refree. She would return to Portugal in 2019, for the NOS Primavera Sound festival, in Porto, with a new album, “El Mal Querer” (2018).
