Munich: Brazen baby carriage theft: father provides thief at Munich Central Station
A 33-year-old woman stole a pram from Munich Central Station. However, she did not get far, as reported by the federal police.
A family is stowing away their luggage at Munich Central Station when a woman takes the opportunity and takes the family’s pram with her, reports the police. Accordingly, the native of western Ukraine set out on Saturday morning with the stolen goods in the direction of the Starnberg wing station.
The father of the family caught the thief – she then flees
When the father of the family noticed that the new but empty pram worth 1100 euros was missing, he is said to have looked around and discovered the woman and the car. He hurried after the avoidable thief and informed the federal police. Without saying a word, the Ukrainian then abandoned her stolen goods and fled, police said.
The federal police were able to locate the suspected woman. There should be further investigations into the intention of the theft. So far, the woman has only been noticed because of the illegal stay. The 33-year-old received a criminal complaint for attempted theft and was then allowed to leave the police station. (AZ)
