Paris. The uncle of the Emir of Qatar suspected of sexual assault on one of his daughters
An investigation for “aggravated sexual assault” was opened by the Paris prosecutor’s office following a complaint filed Thursday by one of the daughters of Abdelaziz Bin Khalifa Bin Hamad Al-Thani, 73, uncle of the Emir of Qatar reveals Le Parisien.
Abdelaziz Bin Khalifa Bin Hamad Al-Thani has lived in France since the 1990s and is housed in a 5,000 m2 palace on Avenue Montaigne, in the 8th arrondissement of Paris.
The young woman of 17 years accuses her father of sexual touching of which she would have been the victim of her 9 to 15 years.
He “took to treat me like his wife”
She told the police when she filed a complaint that her father had behaved inappropriately since his ex-wife left. He allegedly sexually assaulted her and forced her to sleep in the same bed with him after her mother left.
He “started to treat me like his wife”, she named to the investigators, speaking of a “strong psychological influence”.
The young woman was accompanied during her plain filing by her mother Kasia Gallanio, an American of Polish origin separated from Abdelaziz Bin Khalifa Bin Hamad Al-Thani.
The investigations are entrusted to the brigade for the protection of minors of the Regional Directorate of the Judicial Police (DRPJ).
