However, Russia would like to see only one agreement, the head of state said.
President Volodymyr Zelensky believes that two documents can be signed as a result of negotiations with Russia on the war, one of which is security guarantees for Ukraine.
The head of state said this in a conversation with journalists, informs RBC-Ukraine.
“Russia would like to see one agreement, which would include everything. But not all countries are ready to sit with the Russians at the same table after Bucha, Borodyanka“- said Zelensky.
He said that the results of the talks may include two: one – on security guarantees for Ukraine, the other guarantee document – the agreement between Ukraine and Russia.
Today, April 12, at the Eastern Spaceport, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that peace talks with Ukraine had reached a stalemate.
Later, the adviser to the head of the Office of the President Oleksiy Arestuovich said that after the last talks between Ukraine and Russia in Istanbul, there were already signals that the conclusion of a peace agreement was near. However, after Putin’s statement at the Vostochny spaceport, it became clear that Russia had chosen the status of war.
