Ukrainians bought a car in Slovakia. They came across a cheater
Uncomfortable, but it also happens… Two volunteers from Kharkov, Ukraine, came to eastern Slovakia to buy a car for militia. The militia “dusted” Ukraine due to the military conflict with Russia, it is made up of volunteers who have undergone military training and, in essence, there is a “lack” of professional soldiers. In Slovakia, however, they came across a con man.
“They came to my boarding house. It turned out that the man wanted to rob them, the used car he offered was burdened with foreclosure and could not be sold, “ says Michaela Molnárová, who provides first aid to Ukrainians after crossing borders since the outbreak of war.
As happened with the head in their hands, that even after three days they did not equip anything, Molnárová took part in this process.
“I gave them accommodation for the night, gave me a list of used cars and said that I had that one night to find a car and that we would take care of everything the next day,” said Michaela Molnárová. I equipped. The Ukrainians found a car, equipped the police the next day, checked the originality or was not again associated with any fraud, and happily left home.
At present, the car is already adapted for off-road use, sprayed on the greenery. Ukrainians sent a photo. And in the end, they had more luck than misfortune. Their story was followed in the pension by an old-aged gentleman, a volunteer who came to Slovakia to help the Ukrainians from Australia. He assured them that they would get another car that his friends would buy and send him to Ukraine filled with pressure bandages to stop as many bleeding wounds as possible.
