Final of the Portuguese Football Cup returning to Jamor
The Portuguese Cup final will return to the National Stadium, in Oeiras, after two seasons being played in Coimbra, the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) announced this Friday.
“Between May and June, the Estádio Nacional, in Jamor, will be the capital of the great decisions of Portuguese football by hosting several finals from different countries”, can be read in the note published on the official website of the FPF, which details that the Estádio Nacional will host the finals of the Portuguese Cup, League 3, Portuguese Championship and Women’s Cup of Portugal.
In the last two seasons, the final of the ‘queen competition’ of national football took place at Estádio Cidade de Coimbra, now returning to Jamor, in a game scheduled for May 22, from 5:15 pm.
Before, on May 14, the winner of the first edition of Liga 3 will be known, in a final starting at 18:00, and, six days after the final of the Portuguese Cup, he will host the women’s final, in a meeting also scheduled for 17:15.
Finally, on June 5th, Jamor will host the final of the Portuguese Championship, starting at 4:30 pm.
