A Stéphanie Frappart land in Sotteville-Lès-Rouen
International referee Stéphanie Frappart will give her name to the new synthetic pitch at the Jean-Adret municipal stadium in Sotteville-Lès-Rouen, Normandy.
This Saturday, April 16 at noon, the town of Sotteville-Lès-Rouen, in Seine-Maritime, will inaugurate its new synthetic pitch. It bears the name of Stéphanie Frappart. The international referee will be the guest of honor at this ceremony, alongside Luce Pane, mayor of Sotteville, and Patrick Lhermite, vice-president of the Federal Referees Commission.
This inauguration will take place on the occasion of the 42nd edition of the traditional youth tournament organized by the Stade Sottevillais Cheminot Club (SSCC), the local club. A thousand young people are expected, ie 96 men’s teams in the U7 to U13 categories, and for the first time, 32 women’s teams in the U9 to U11 categories.
This synthetic field, which is added to the four grass fields already present in the town, integrates the Jean-Adret stadium, recognized nationally for the quality of its sports equipment and the diversity of its events. It will participate in the development of the SSCC by allowing it to maintain training in winter and receive more women’s teams. This land is also intended to accommodate school groups.
