First meeting of beneficiaries in Thessaloniki for the project ENGINE-HUBs
The inaugural meeting of the project “Creating” Circular Business “by young ENGINEers at the cross-border area of Greece-Bulgaria”, held under the acronym ENGINE-HUBs, took place at the International Center for Digital Transformation and Digital Skills, in Thessaloniki. of the Program. Territorial Cooperation INTERREG VA “Greece – Bulgaria 2014-2020”.
The meeting was organized by the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE) – as the head of the project beneficiary, in the presence of the Vice President of Papastergiou Michael and attended by a representative from the Hellenic Industries Association (SVE), the Union of Civil Engineers in Bulgaria (UCEB) of Gotse Delchev (GDCCI).
The Engine – Hubs project aims to promote the “cyclical” business model to young engineers and scientists in the project ‘s cross – border area. Specifically, it will support the development of innovative economic plans through the creation of new structures, ENGINE-HUBS, which will function as training and information centers for young people and potential entrepreneurs in the direction of the circular economy.
The Engine – Hubs has a total budget of € 68,991.00 and is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund and by national resources of the countries participating in the INTERREG VA Cooperation Program “Greece – Bulgaria 2014-2020”. These four beneficiaries from Greece and Bulgaria are participating and will last until November 2023.
