Who did the French in Monaco vote for?
This Sunday, April 10, the French residents of Monaco were also called to the polls. Out of 5,185 registered, only 2,392 took the step.
In the ranking of candidates, Emmanuel Macron takes first place with 789 votes. The second step of the podium is occupied by Marine Le Pen with 568 votes.
However, no Jean-Luc Mélenchon in third position. The candidate of La France Insoumise federated 157 voters which places him fourth behind Eric Zemmour. The head of Reconquest was carried by 426 votes.
Then come the Republicans with Valérie Pécresse (144 votes) and the EELV candidate Yannick Jadot (113 votes).
The end of the ranking ranks Nicolas Dupont-Aignant (72 votes), Jean Lassalle (51 votes), Anne Hidalgo (17 votes), Fabrien Roussel (15 votes), Philippe Poutou (10 votes) and Nathalie Arthaud (4 votes).
Turnout for this election was 46%, compared to 55.85% in 2017. In 2012, 45.86% of those registered had voted.
Five years ago, François Fillon came out on top at the Monegasque polling station with 1,121 votes. Marine Le Pen was second (594 votes) and Emmanuel Macron third (458 votes).
