Ukraine nationalizes 10 Russian ships
The State Bureau of Investigation has prevented Russian entrepreneurs from taking 10 ships worth over a billion hryvnias out of Ukraine.
According to Ukrinform, the DBR reports Telegrams.
Investigators of the State Border Guard Service, with the assistance of the State Border Guard Service, prevented the withdrawal of eight Russian cargo ships and two tankers, which were in the port area in the Odessa region for preventive repairs. The ships were involved in logistics operations in Russia in the Black Sea and Danube.
The owners tried to illegally withdraw the ships from Ukraine, changing the flag of the country of “registration”. To minimize mandatory payments to the state budget of Ukraine, the vessel was estimated at UAH 160 million. According to preliminary estimates, this amount is underestimated at least 5 times.
DBR employees handed over the court to the Administration of Sea Ports of Ukraine and submitted materials to the Odessa Regional Military Administration with the initiative of their nationalization.
As Ukrinform reported, in April the DBR found another 757 railway cars from Russia and Belarus, which were nationalized for the needs of Ukraine’s defense.
