“Secret pact”: new destination and new mystery for Charlène of Monaco
A new part in the machine. Last March, Charlène of Monaco found the Rock and her family. But the reunion was short-lived and the rumors far from being swept away. At first, it was written that the 44-year-old princess had found refuge at Roc Angel, a popular Grimaldi estate not far from the Palace. Then the German press got carried away and assured that the South African, photographed on the tarmac of Nice airport, had crossed the Alps to continue her fitness program in Switzerland. From now on, it is the turn of the Italian press to add its stone to the tottering edifice.
Like at home
the Corriere della Serra affirms it: the wife of Albert II took the direction of Corsica. To cope with the difficulties, the couple would have sealed a “Secret Pact” which could allow Charlene to enjoy complete freedom of movement before resuming her official commitments. Her choice would therefore have been on the Isle of Beauty with which she has a special relationship. “Corsica has a lot in common with the country where I grew up”, confided the mother of Jacques and Gabriella in the columns of Indicate in 2020. She had also prepared for the Riviera Water Bike Challenge, an intense sea bike crossing undertaken in the summer of that same year. Only one thing is certain: Charlène still seems far, far from a return in good and due form on the side of Monaco.
