New LNG chargers open in Hungary – Infostart.hu
Currently, the only LNG fuel seller in Hungary, Arelgas Kft., Has started servicing liquefied natural gas (LNG) trucks and buses at the second filling station. CNG-powered (compressed natural gas) vehicles and premium fuel can also be refueled at a large-capacity company, he wrote in a statement. vg.hu.
Arelga opened its first filling station next to the M0 motorway last year, which has since been used by dozens of European fleet operators and some domestic truck companies. With most of the second filling stations taken over, the domestic haulage company would win you a good price and, as you write, provide you with greater operational safety.
LNG fuel is today the only alternative fuel for heavy vehicles.
Arelgas Kft. Wants to cover the country with six to seven filling points in a short time, so that the vehicles that travel on all motorways can be easily recharged. The company intends to establish a bio-LNG production plant in Hungary, and has already agreed on the necessary renewable raw material.
Founded a year ago, Arelgas in Budapest is majority-owned by Polymex AG in Switzerland (Zug) and minority by Henrik Domanovszky (former president of the Hungarian Gas Transport Cluster Association) and Rafael Dusuzsky (by Dushuzsky).
Analysts say the share of LNG-powered vehicles in the heavy-duty vehicle category will reach 30 percent by the end of the decade.
