better detect cancers thanks to 3D imaging
Mustapha Hamdi, founder of the start-up, introduces us to InnoDeep, one of the three companies dedicated to the medical field that have just joined MonacoTech.
This first article in the series dedicated to start-ups that have just joined the MedTech section of MonacoTech focuses on InnoDeep. This company created by Mustapha Hamdi makes it possible to better diagnose cancers thanks to a reconstruction in three dimensions. The founder of InnoDeep tells us more about this company on the way to revolutionizing the medical world.
Tell us about InnoDeep
The idea of setting up a remote diagnostic platform dates back to the first wave of Covid-19. At the time, several thousand CT Scan images had to be processed per day and per region. We have the idea of setting up a Cloud platform, at the service of the medical profession, allowing the reading and analysis of images by artificial intelligence and detecting the presence of lung lesions.
Currently, we are interested in helping to diagnose cancer with 3D reconstruction with immersion, allowing close visualization of the tumor and monitoring its evolution. We are also committed to tackling the shortage of radiologists, particularly in Africa, to help women affected by breast cancer.
InnoDeep is an augmented intelligence platform, capable of assisting doctors to allow them to spend much more time on their patients and on research.

Why did you want to join MonacoTech?
To make an innovative project a reality, you need an incubator with a solid support program, administrative support with fluid and rapid exchanges and access to local investors to raise funds. These three essential tools are offered by MonacoTech.
What were or are the biggest challenges?
The biggest challenge at the beginning was to have a consistent database to have an effective artificial intelligence platform. Currently, we are trying to establish collaborations with hospitals and experts working in particular on breast cancer.
