+ 14% of parcel deliveries related to E-commerce in Venice
In the last year in the province of Venice there has been an increase in the delivery area of 14% compared to 2020. Poste Italiane guarantees deliveries all over the world, from the smallest and most remote centers to large cities. This is thanks to the capillarity and efficiency of its distribution network, which in the province can count on an innovative delivery model made up of 20 distribution centers and a fleet of 390 vehicles, 30 of which are entirely green.
Since 1862 the company has been delivering letters to Italian families and businesses. Over the years, the parcel sector has driven the business, so much so that 249 million parcels were delivered in 2021, up 18.3% compared to the previous year. Revenues from correspondence also increased, with € 2.1 billion recording + 9.7%.

Our new digital channels and Business to Business to Consumer network encourage solid growth in further revenues. We have achieved an average of 20 million daily interactions.
These came from all mainly our new channels, including the PuntoPoste network. This demonstrates the enormous potential that our customer base can guarantee for the future, ”said Matteo del Fante at the presentation of the financial results for 2021.
