“This tragedy marked us all.” The Marshal of the Senate, parliamentarians of the KO and the President of Warsaw celebrated the anniversary of the Smolensk disaster
The 12th anniversary of the Smolensk catastrophe and the death of 96 people was celebrated today by the Marshal of the Senate Tomasz Grodzki, the Deputy Speaker of the Sejm Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska and the Mayor of Warsaw Rafał Trzaskowski at the monument to the victims in the cemetery in Powązki.
During the ceremonial weddings at the military Powązki, they prayed on Sunday morning at the Monument to the Victims of the Smolensk Catastrophe, laid bouquets and bouquets, and lit candles. At 8:41 a minute of silence they commemorated the victims. Sirens wailed in the center of the capital.
Banks are also the sons of the victim’s family and parliamentarians of the Civic Platform.

12 years ago – on April 10, 2010 at 8:41 – 96 people died in the crash of the Tu-154M plane in Smolensk, including President Lech Kaczyński and his wife Maria, and the last president of the Republic of Poland in exile, Ryszard Kaczorowski. The Polish delegation was flying to Katyn to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Katyn massacre.
