Toulouse: The driver lets off steam with his fists and hammer
A driver violently attacked a motorist in Toulouse.
The dispute between motorists turned into a scene of violence in February in Toulouse. That day, boulevard Florence-Arthaud, in the Croix-Daurade sector, a driver in too much of a hurry took the zebras to overtake a line of cars before falling back to find himself in pole position at a red light.
A motorist dissatisfied with the maneuver made it known to the indelicate by making him understand that it was dangerous. The driver, very excited, punched his victim then he took out a hammer from his car to break the window of the vehicle of the motorist who came to take refuge inside.
Police officers from the People’s Skills Unit of the Right Bank were in charge of this investigation. On this axis, the whole scene was filmed by CCTV cameras. The driver, a 25-year-old man, has been identified. He was taken into custody on Wednesday. Faced with the images, his memory returned to him and he ended up recognizing the violence. Tried in the context of a rapid procedure, he was sentenced to six months in prison without continued detention.
