Toulouse: the police caught in a riot at the Reynerie
A police check turned into a riot, Monday evening April 4, at the Reynerie in Toulouse.
The control of a car driver was ambushed, around 7 p.m., Monday April 4, Louis-Auriacombe route in the Reynerie sector in Toulouse.
It all started when a patrol from the Mirail specialized field brigade spotted a known man in a vehicle. The latter begins to inveigh and insult them. When the police officers, on foot, wanted to check him, he began to back up so that he hit a police officer with his rear-view mirror.
When he put the rear view mirror back, the recalcitrant gave the officials the middle finger before finding himself blocked by the police car. At the time of his arrest, he rebelled and called on the people who described themselves there to attack the police. A group of about fifty “supporters” of this man then began to surround the officials who had to call for reinforcements and use cougar shots to free themselves.
Finally arrested, the suspect gave all the difficulties to the police to be brought to the police station. Three complaints have been filed against this 45-year-old man, already described as described, for aggravated violence, outrages, rebellion and incitement to riot.
