Several coffee shops or coffee lounges have opened in Toulouse, these last weeks. To enjoy a quality coffee, a gourmet pastry, a brunch, a lunch: our selection of addresses to discover in the Pink City.
#1. Kopi Coffee shop: nitro coffee and vinyl records
Cafe Kopiit’s a brand new address to discover on the side of saline square. A café run by Christophe Thibault, supported in the adventure by his father who works in the kitchen.
Here you can taste specialty coffee, from the Toulouse house Hayuko, cappuccinos, lattes, but also nitro coffee, a cold brewed coffee pressurized with nitrogen: sensations guaranteed! A range of pastries during the day, meals for lunch. “We lived in Southeast Asia for a long time,” explains Christophe Thibault. We can therefore offer a blanquette as well as a Thai curry or a nice salad. All to the sound of the owner’s vinyl records!
#2. Café Brûlé, a new address and plant-based cuisine
burnt coffee one open to Toulouse at the very beginning of this month of March 2022. Behind this new address, we find Annaëlle and Edith, two TBS alumni who wanted to give a new direction to their career, more in line with their values.
“We offer an entirely plant-based cuisine, with pastries and a catering offer at lunchtime,” explains Edith. We want to prove that plants can be greedy. »
The Café brûlée is also a fine offer of specialty coffees, developed in partnership with the Toulouse residents of the Hayuko house, as well as “all the emblematic drinks of a coffee shop”. A small grocery store with vegan products is also installed in the establishment.

#3. Specialty coffee, delicacies and CBD at L’Oiseau vert
It is also a new address, to be discovered on the Boulevard Armand-Duportal side. L’Oiseau vert is a coffee shop run by two brothers : Steve the barista and Ronan the cook. You can enjoy specialty coffees, cappuccinos, macchiatos, but also tea or CBD flowers. And always quality products.
“We want to make people aware of what they’re buying,” explains Steve. Coffee is not just coffee! There is a use-by date, a method to follow. »
At noon, beautiful plates are to be tasted, count on average about ten euros. The little extra: a cozy and warm decor, there are even swing seats!

#4. Premium coffees at Neroli Coffee
The Neroli Coffee opened in 2019, in the heart of the Carmes district. A coffee shop where you can enjoy high-end coffees and healthy cuisine. Here we serve organic coffee, cappuccino, latte, macchiato, after an artisanal roasting. The catering offer is to be discovered during the week, from Tuesday to Friday at noon, and Saturday is brunch!

#5. Virgule, specialty coffee and vegan pastries
It is a former oceanographer who opened Virgule in 2019, a coffee shop located close to the Capitol. Here you can taste grand cru, top-of-the-range coffees with high traceability. A range of pastries and savory dishes can also be enjoyed on site, all vegan.

#6. The Cherry Café, on the banks of the Garonne
It’s one of Toulouse’s best-known cafés, with its pretty little terrace facing the Garonne. #7. Cinnamon Roll, babka and specialty coffee at Canopée Coffee house
Quartier des Carmes, café le Canopée opened its doors in 2019, rue des Couteliers. You can taste specialty coffees and cinnamon roll and babka made the reputation of the address. You can also eat with bowls, salads, sandwiches… And brunches take place on Saturdays.
