Philippe Junot, the ex-husband of Princess Caroline of Monaco, attended his daughter’s wedding this Saturday, April 2. Isabelle Junot became Marquise de Cubas by marrying Álvaro Falcó, in a designated ceremony at the Palace of the Marquises de Mirabel, in Plasencia, Spain.
It was the most anticipated social event since the beginning of the year in Spain. The brand new Marquis of Cubas, Álvaro Falcó, married, this Saturday, April 2, with Isabelle Junot. Isabelle is none other than one of the daughters of Philippe Junot, theFrench businessman ex-husband of Princess Caroline of Monacodaughter of Prince Rainier III.
The newlyweds said “yes” to each other this Saturday, April 2, at the Palace of the Marquises of Mirabel, the most important civil monument in Plasencia, private property of the Falco family. The ceremony took place at 1 p.m. in the Place de Saint-Nicolas and brought together 25 guests, including many celebrities from the Spanish jet-set.
Serial marriages
Recall that Philippe Junot, son of a French deputy and a mother from a family of Danish industrialists, had married Princess Caroline of Monaco, civilly and religiously, in 1978. The divorce was finalized in 1980. And he will have waited until 1992 for the religious marriage to be annulled by the Vatican.
