The Loiret players, carried by LaMonte Ulmer (21 points) and Youssou Ndoye (21 points, 10 rebounds), first let the storm pass at the start of the match before taking control at the very end of the first quarter- time. Finding solutions in attack, the OLB counted up to sixteen points in advance in the second quarter before suffering a backlash on the return from the locker room, Monaco falling back to just two points. Regaining solidity, the Orléanais put their game back in place to approach the last ten minutes with a mattress of thirteen lengths. However, with Mike James (24 points) and Donatas Motjejunas (17 points, 8 rebounds), Monaco were able to turn their backs before finishing the match with a bang to win by six points (90-84) and come back up to Boulogne-Levallois, who had started the weekend with a success on Châlons-Reims.
ASVEL does not give up
Behind this leading duo, ASVEL is doing everything not to be left behind. The players of TJ Parker chained a second victory in a row in the league on the occasion of the reception of Portel. Taking the advantage from the start of the match, the Villeurbannais did not however know how to widen a significant gap in the first quarter, concluded with a margin of only four units.
