VIDEO. Six Nations Tournament: in Toulouse, the Bleues delight and crush Ireland (40-5)
At the Ernest-Wallon stadium in Toulouse, Les Bleues outclassed the Irish in their second match of the competition. A second success of affiliation after the one acquired against Italy. Much more liberated in the game than against the Transalpines, here are the Tricolores introduced to the Grand Slam.
The women’s XV of France largely dominated Ireland (40-5) on Saturday April 2 in Toulouse, signing their second bonus victory in a row in the 2022 Six Nations Tournament in a perfectly mastered match from start to finish, from what with confidence his move to Scotland.
The French, in search of a first trophy in the Tournament since 2018, temporarily take first place in the standings with 10 points, ahead of England, which will be opposed on Sunday (4 p.m.) to Italy, in Parma.
During the 3rd day, they will be opposed to the Scots, on April 10 in Glasgow.
Game play, precision in gestures and six tries: Les Bleues, led by their scrum-half Laure Sansus, impeccable and logically designated “woman of the match”, delighted the public at the Ernest-Wallon stadium, against the valiant Irish women but outdated, and whose non-qualification for the next World Cup in New Zealand (October 8-November 12) seems altogether logical.
After the victory against Italy, last Sunday in Grenoble (39-6), whose score did not reflect the messy start of the game of the Blue, the coach Annick Hayraud had pointed out several areas to improve, including the conquest, and succeeded seven changes in the starting XV compared to that aligned against the Italians.
