Solidarity Sunday in the Center with the tenth edition of the “Run for autism”Promoted by the Filippide Project, which has been involved in sports for autistic subjects and those with rare syndromes for years. The race starts at 9.30 but the first closings will take place after 7 along the ten-kilometer race course which has Piazza Bocca della Verità as its starting and ending point. The event, on the occasion of the “World Day of Awareness of Autism” which occurs on April 2, aims to raise awareness on the issue and social inclusion.

Seventeen Atac bus lines will be diverted from 7 to 11.30: nav-30-44-51-75-81-83-85-87-118-160-170-628-715-716-781-C3. The athletes will run on a five-kilometer course that is repeated twice. From piazza Bocca della Verità they will head towards via Petroselli, via del Teatro Marcello, piazza Venezia, and then again via dei Fori Imperiali, largo Corrado Ricci, via Cavour, piazza del Colosseo, via Celio Vibenna, via San Gregorio, via dei Cerchi, inside Circo Massimo, piazzale Porta Capena, via del Circo Massimo, via Ara Massima di Ercole. In addition to the 10-kilometer race for professionals (over 2,500 registered), for enthusiasts there is the five-kilometer race and you can also register today until 9 am: the contribution is 12 euros. The first thousand of both races will be given a commemorative medal.

Many amateur sports clubs will participate. 400 young people from the Filippide Project will arrive from all over Italy who will be able to run together with the able-bodied without any distinction of bib. Many industry associations that will be present. Among these are “Ethics and Autism”, “Angsa Lazio”, “Models are born”, “Emotion has no voice”, “Fida (Italian Forum for Autism Rights)”, “My brother is an only child” and “World Future Disabled “. Among the well-known faces, the ultramarathon runner Giorgio Calcaterra who won the first edition of the race, the Olympians Massimiliano Rosolino (gold in swimming in Sydney 2000) and Mario Fiorillo (gold in water polo in Barcelona ’92). The maximum time to complete the route is an hour and a half. Roads closed and detours of ATAC lines also in other districts. In Centocelle, the socio-cultural event “Arts and Flavors of Italy” will be held from 9 to 22. To allow the event to take place, via dei Castani will be closed to traffic in the stretch between piazza dei Mirti and via dei Faggi. Lines C5-313-542-556 will be diverted. Via Conca d’Oro will be closed for an “Exhibition-Market” from the morning until the end of the need. The traffic stop will start in both directions in the section between largo Valtournanche and via Val di Chianti. Lines 83-88-311 are diverted from the beginning of the service until the need ceases. As Atac explains, «line 83 towards Partigiani, from the Valsabbia terminus, turns into via Val D’Ala, via Conca d’Oro; the 88 (in the direction of Verano) turns into via Val dei Prati Fiscali, via Salaria, Ponte Salario where it makes an inversion, via Salaria, via dei Prati Fiscali, via Val D’Ala, via di Conca d’Oro. In the direction of Largo Labia it deviates from via Conca D’Oro, via Val D’Ala, via dei Prati Fiscali, via Cavriglia ». For bus 311, towards Valsabbia, there is a detour from via Conca D’Oro to via Val D’Ala and largo Valsabbia.
