what restrictions apply?
The prefecture has taken a series of measures to combat the lack of water.
Result: a water deficit 40 to 60% lower than normal in the department. This is why, on March 9, the prefect of the Alpes-Maritimes declared the stage of vigilance throughout the 06, initially. The latest data then revealed that some rivers have flows below the alert thresholds in the Var, Roya, Brague and Paillon watersheds.
Consequently, 98 municipalities have been on drought alert since March 25, such as Nice, Antibes, Biot, Eze, Menton, and even Beaulieu. Similarly, the municipalities bordering the Principality, Beausoleil, La Turbie, Cap d’Ail and Roquebrune are also concerned. The rest of the municipalities in the department are still on the alert.
