The confrontation between two European cadors for a Monegasque?
Revelation of the season, Aurélien Tchouaméni arouses the greed of Paris Saint-Germain, but also that of Real Madrid, who would be ready to do anything to win the bet.
The summer transfer window is likely to be hectic between PSG and Real Madrid. Already registered in a serious fight to claim the services of K. Mbappé, the two clubs will engage in a merciless fight for another young French player.
L’Equipe reported a few days ago that Monaco president Dimitri Rybolovlev is unhappy with the club’s management and is considering a major restructuring. The latter could separate from vice-president Oleg Petrov, sports director Paul Mitchell, and even coach Philippe Clément. Monaco would therefore be ready to sell its nugget Tchouameni which will be hard to keep in view of the growing interest of European XXL clubs for the latter. The principality club is ready to cash in on the young player whose services it acquired from Bordeaux in exchange for 18 million euros in 2020.
Tchouaméni, Real Madrid’s priority?
While the English press announced that the players were potentially sharing for Chelsea, such a move to the Premier League should be ruled out for the Monegasque midfielder. Quite simply, as Chelsea are facing a serious crisis following UK government sanctions against owner Roman Abramovich, while Manchester City are interested in him but don’t see the Frenchman as a priority target.
Real Madrid should go on the attack and put big money on the 22-year-old French international. The Iberian press ignites for the young Monegasque. According to information from MARCA, Aurélien Tchouaméni would simply be the Madrid club’s top priority in midfield.
A new Madrid-PSG war?
Real Madrid main scout Juni Calafat traveled to Monaco last January to meet Tchouameni’s representatives but, in case the LaLiga giants Santander travel for Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland, they may not have not be 60 million euros for the signatory.
Real Madrid fans believe the club should make the effort to sign for this summer, seeing Tchouameni as the perfect long-term replacement for Casemiro. According to Marca, the young player is already unanimous in the Madrid club!
On the Parisian side, there is no question of letting an opportunity like this slip by when the club necessarily needs its midfielder. The club has already been refused by N. Kanté on several occasions, including last January. Leonardo would keep doing a big clean up in the capital’s club environment. This sector of play could therefore be drastically modified, with in particular the departures of Leandro Paredes or Ander Herrera.
To replace them, PSG dream big with in particular the pair of the France team formed by Paul Pogba and Aurélien Tchouaméni. The first is out of contract at Manchester United, while the second could leave AS Monaco, even if the competition looks tough.
A recruitment and a struggle between the two clubs which is reminiscent of the transfer of another Frenchman! Los Blancos and PSG were both set to sign Eduardo Camavinga last summer, and he chose Real over PSG.
A real 100% French environment?
Can the Tchouameni-Camavinga pair be a solution in the Madrid midfield? If Camavinga does not get a lot of playing time in the Spanish capital, he knows how to make himself useful, like his performance in LDC against PSG. The latter proves that he is capable of replacing Modric to perfection. But the Croats has not finished impressing, from the height of his 36 years, he remains a flagship player in the Madrid midfield. Nevertheless, the time will come for Camavinga to take over from whoever is training him at Madrid. Will the former Rennais be joined by the Monegasque? Answer this summer! The race to sign the talented 22-year-old midfielder is over.
