Russia’s war against Ukraine: does Putin know the truth and do the Russians really leave the Chernobyl nuclear power plant?
Russians are in Energodar, Berdyansk and Melitopol are trying to force educators to start studying in Russian on April 1.
Oleksandr Starukh, the head of the Zaporizhzhya OVA, spoke about this on a telephon.
“Teachers are being followed now, not only in Energodar, but also in Berdyansk and Melitopol. They are being forced to start the educational process on April 1 in Russian,” Starukh said.
He ordered that in the areas that are temporarily out of Ukraine’s control, the holidays be extended for a month until May 1.
Former education ministers Lilia Hrynevych and Hanna Novosad also report
pressure and threats to educators in the territories controlled by the Russian army.
According to Hrynevych, in Melito’s words they went to the houses of school principals, demanding that schools go to work.
After that, 18 directors of educational institutions in Melitopol wrote down their applications for dismissal.
According to Anna Novosad, Teachers in the Russian-occupied territories need to be made clear that they will be independent of what they call for.
“They can / will be fired and not use compulsory education in the occupied schools, they should be offered an alternative to safe employment and earn money,” said former Minister Novosad.
