Toulouse. As the swimming season approaches, a new swimming school opens its doors

Drownings remain a real scourge in France. According to figures from Public Health France, 1119 accidental drownings were recorded between 1uh June and August 31, 2021, and the Occitanie region is at the top of this sad list with Provence Alpes-Côte d’Azur. And drowning remains the leading cause of death by accident in everyday life in people under 25 (with almost half of the cases in children under 6).
An opening in Montaudran
Knowing how to swim is a public health issue and it is in this spirit that the network of swimming schools has been developed. swimming stars, which claims to have trained more than 20,000 children. Saturday April 2, 2022, a Swim Stars franchise will open its doors in Toulouse, Montaudran district, as spring begins and before the long-awaited arrival of the summer season.
What the franchise offers
The school offers several offers. First programs for all levels with baby-swimmer lessons, learning and improvement for children and adults.
The program “Auto-Rescue®” , it is more specific and was created to teach the little ones survival reflexes in the event of a fall in the water but also the basics of swimming: breathing, floating, propulsion. “The level is validated by passing the Auto-Rescue® test: jumping, floating, swimming, getting out of the water on your own”, indicates the company. Classes in small groups lasting 30 minutes.
